I have an addiction to surfing clothing. A lot. I have a surfboard that hangs from the ceiling, but because I am a big guy, I have a surfboard that actually falls to the ground. Another board was lost and I had to find it again. I finally found my board again, but I still have a lot of clothing that I can’t find. I am always trying to find new clothing that will hold me through a long day of surfing.
Surfriding has always been a hobby of mine, and I love the look of a well worn, comfortable, and clean clothing. It’s all about comfort and cleanliness.
In surfing, there are two basic styles: “board-laying” or “board-sitting.” Board-laying is the most common, and the one most people will do. In board-laying, you use a surfboard to take up the slack of a wave. In board-sitting, you use your board like a surfboard. You sit on it and surf.
Once you’ve mastered board-laying you can learn the board-sitting style to do it. Board-sitting is a bit more difficult because the board requires more skill. It’s not as easy as it seems. I’ve only been doing it for a few years, so, I’m still pretty green. I think if you have an interest in surfing, you’d be wise to get yourself a board-sitting device.
The most popular board-sitting devices are the ones that attach to your car. Its kind of like having a portable surfboard. But, its not for the faint of heart. There are lots of bad guys out there who will try to rip you off.
Ive been using a board-sitting device for a while. Im not sure I can recommend it enough, though. Ive never been one to buy a new board from a store. I just use it when Im not sure what Im going to do with it.
I recommend buying a good quality board-sitting device every now and then. A board-sitting device can be a lifesaver in emergencies. Or so I always say. It’s also something awesome to have on your person (or in your back pocket when you’re going out to get some ice).
I actually use a board-sitting device at home too. But for me it’s more for the occasions when Im out surfing and need to be prepared. But I have this big, round, black board sitting in my office that is a great way to check out where Im going to be later. It acts as a mini map of my position. There are a couple of different boards in there, so I can see exactly where Im heading and what Im doing.
For the same reason that you might not want to wear your board in public, there’s also a lot of different sizes. I wear a board I call my “go to surfboard”. It has a nice, flat bottom, so it’s not exactly a board, but it’s pretty close. I use it not just during the winter, but for all of the summer months.
If you’re going to be sitting on its edge, then you might as well wear it with your shorts and t-shirt.
