So you are sitting down to try to get your head up, your neck is actually contracting in order to help support the weight of your torso, and your legs are contracting to aid your balance.
You can feel it in your right leg, the muscle that is contracting as you stand up, and it’s very similar to the double arch. The problem is that the muscles that are contracting are your legs, too and they are in a constant state of contraction just like they are in a double arch. So if you’re still sitting down after you get your head up, your legs will be contracting while you are standing up. You will be doing this every time.
The solution: You must always stand and stretch before you sit down. The best way to do this is to stand and stretch again, and then walk.
This is a problem because the only way to keep from contracting while you stand up is to contract again. And the only way to get it to stop is to contract again. So, yes I do get this. I’ve tried the double arch and the “stand up and stretch again” technique, but I can never seem to get it to stop.
