The beach was the theme for Kent’s annual “beach party” last weekend. For as long as I can remember, it’s been the “beach party” in Kent. It’s a time when the locals come together to enjoy themselves in one of the most popular beach areas in the UK. Of course, Kent has a lot of the best beaches in the UK, so you can’t always expect the same thing here. But this year was a good one for the beach party.
The beach party featured a good mix of local Kentans, as well as a few international guests. Its always good to see people from other countries out and about and being introduced to the Kent area. The most interesting part of the weekend for me was the performance of the Beach Party Band. They played a mix of music from various genres and it was nice to see that the Beach Party Band is, for the most part, not a cover band.
